Born with the Moon in Mula

In Vedic astrology, the mansion the Moon was in when you were born is your birth star. It also sets where your life’s chapters (dashas) begin: a life born under Mula begins in a Ketu chapter.

A chapter of letting go: turning inward, simplifying and insight.

A whole Ketu chapter lasts 7 years. You arrive partway through it, depending on how far the Moon had travelled through Mula.

Nakshatras are counted in the sidereal zodiac, which follows the stars. It sits about 24° behind the tropical zodiac most Western horoscopes use, so your Moon’s Western sign and its Vedic sign can differ.
