Born with the Moon in Shravana

In Vedic astrology, the mansion the Moon was in when you were born is your birth star. It also sets where your life’s chapters (dashas) begin: a life born under Shravana begins in a Moon chapter.

A chapter of feeling: home, family, care and changing moods.

A whole Moon chapter lasts 10 years. You arrive partway through it, depending on how far the Moon had travelled through Shravana.

Nakshatras are counted in the sidereal zodiac, which follows the stars. It sits about 24° behind the tropical zodiac most Western horoscopes use, so your Moon’s Western sign and its Vedic sign can differ.
