Born with the Moon in Pushya

In Vedic astrology, the mansion the Moon was in when you were born is your birth star. It also sets where your life’s chapters (dashas) begin: a life born under Pushya begins in a Saturn chapter.

A chapter of patient work: responsibility, structure and results that last.

A whole Saturn chapter lasts 19 years. You arrive partway through it, depending on how far the Moon had travelled through Pushya.

Nakshatras are counted in the sidereal zodiac, which follows the stars. It sits about 24° behind the tropical zodiac most Western horoscopes use, so your Moon’s Western sign and its Vedic sign can differ.
